Happy Heart Day

I am sending out these valentines to all my blog friends.  You make my heart smile all the time.
This is one of my oldest cards I think.  It had a motion arm, that has been torn off long ago, that moved her down to give him a peck.  So sweet!

This one is from my school days.
I love the quips that are often so corny.

Definitely an animal theme going on here!

The real sweetheart story I have to tell is the sweetest of all.  16 years ago, my DH called me up.  I was thinking a dinner date, but he asked me to marry him on Valentine's Day.  Texas required 3 days license prior to ceremony.  Thank goodness, or I may have walked in with no prep notice at all!!  I shudder to think.  haha.  He made all the arrangements!  I pulled together my outfit complete with red boots and joined him at the altar.  What a special memory for us.  We are still celebrating to this day and will for many more.

Happy Anniversary to us!
Thanks Joan at AnythingGoesHere for hosting a great Valentine party today.
