Happy wishing o' the GREEN

May your neighbors respect you,
Troubles neglect you,
The angels protect you,
And Heaven accept you.

Postcards from my personal collection.
Click on pic to enlarge and copy for your own use.

I think this one makes a terrific background piece.
I enhanced the color in all of these a wee bit with PS.

May your blessings outnumber
The shamrocks that grow,
And may trouble avoid you,
Wherever you go.

Enjoy the day and don't forget the wearin' o' the GREEN!

Happy Heart Day

I am sending out these valentines to all my blog friends.  You make my heart smile all the time.
This is one of my oldest cards I think.  It had a motion arm, that has been torn off long ago, that moved her down to give him a peck.  So sweet!

This one is from my school days.
I love the quips that are often so corny.

Definitely an animal theme going on here!

The real sweetheart story I have to tell is the sweetest of all.  16 years ago, my DH called me up.  I was thinking a dinner date, but he asked me to marry him on Valentine's Day.  Texas required 3 days license prior to ceremony.  Thank goodness, or I may have walked in with no prep notice at all!!  I shudder to think.  haha.  He made all the arrangements!  I pulled together my outfit complete with red boots and joined him at the altar.  What a special memory for us.  We are still celebrating to this day and will for many more.

Happy Anniversary to us!
Thanks Joan at AnythingGoesHere for hosting a great Valentine party today.

Valentine Round Up

Grab your hats gals and hang out with this cute little guy! I recently scanned a lot of old cards from the '40's and really fell in love with this one. There is such an innocence that is so appealing with all of these older cards.
I am finishing some cute bedrolls for kiddo's just like the real cowboys use. If we have some good daylight, I'll grab some photos of all the work from these past days.
